Public Relations Society of Malawi (PRSM), during this year’s conference, once again awarded outstanding members of the society to celebrate excellence and also motivate others to work hard.

The awards were in four categories; corporate, public service, development communications and an honorary fellow. The awardees are as follows;

• PR Practitioner of the Year – Sangwani Mwafulirwa – Electoral Commission
• PR Practitioner of the Year Corporate Communications – Lavern Chitakata – Castel Malawi
• PR Practitioner of the Year Development Communications – Grace Nachiola – European Union
• Honorary Fellow – Egrita Ndala – Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB)
• Excellence in Public Sector Communications – NICE Public Trust
• Excellence in Development Communications – European Union Malawi
